New Alphabet

It is a packaging design project concerning a set of calligraphic pens.

The goal is to create captivating packaging, whose style lasts over time, with strong colours and functional shapes that recall the product itself and its intended use.

In coordination with the box I also designed the ink boxes, in the same style as the outer packaging.

So I came up with a concept of shapes and lines that create certain combinations of letters, which work well with the surrounding environment, but stand out given the strong colors in contrast with the black of the background and the white of the common shapes.

The box has been equipped with a magnetic closure so that it can be reused to store the pens and inks and take them with you

All aspects of this project have been treated in such a way that the colors and shapes of every single object, including pens, are in synchrony and harmony, from the shapes to the colors used.
